Fernando Luis Sierra Benitez, better known artísticambeing as Jory Boy, was born on July 5, 1986 in Carolina, Puerto Rico. Half of his childhood, Jory lived in Residence Sabana Torres, apart from being a very poor and violent place, was where he learned what it was to have real friends. His mother then decided it would be best oportunidades to get ahead living in the United States and migrated to this country.
At 10 years old, he came to the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with his 3 brothers. Life there was not very different from where they came, as violence and poverty also on that city. At age 14, his father was killed in Puerto Rico and at that moment was born the first song. This experience helped him to discover that he had the talent to compose a song and sing.
Jory went from job to job and he learned what he could and could not do. Three years later, while he was part of a duo, "Yvan and Jory," Jory met a group called "Sug Music," where they were given the opportunity to record his first song as a duet. While the group was separating and taking different directions.
Then he met Nova, who decides to make a song called "As Wags" which was highly requested locally. Seeing this acceptance the public Philadelphia, they decided to create the duo "Nova y Jory." Gradually they gained ground in the northern US and they knew the company "Bad Landz Ent," which gave them the opportunity to take their music to the next level.
In the first year of his solo career, Jory Boy was part of the production "The Formula" Pina Records, where he composed the song that launched worldwide as soloist and went on to break records. Thanks to his audience, his career was taking a new direction with new inspirations in their songs "Romeo and Juliet" and "Fantasy Nights,"among others.
In 2015, together with the new company "Young Boss Entertainment Inc "and seal discográfico "The Island Entertainment Inc., "the artist is working hard to launch its first production solo, "Killing the league," one of the production.
