Luis Daniel Otero Sierra, also known as D.OZi, was born on August 3rd, 1988, in Bayamón, Puerto Rico. Having demonstrated an interest in music since early on, he started composing his own songs when he was only 12 years old, in an improvised studio at his own house.
Shortly after that, he met Fernando Estrada Valle, also known as Bozz, with whom he formed the duo Los Dueños Del Area Metro, or "Los Palgos". The group didn’t last long, and D.OZi decided to go on a solo career.
In 2012, D.OZi released his first album, "Torre De Control”, which contained the songs “Donde Te Pillamos” ft. Farruko, as well as collaborations with Jory, Arcangel, Ñengo Flow, Yomo, Zion, Gotay and Pacho y Cirilo.
His next album, “El Suero De La Calle”, was released in 2014, and contained the songs “Otro Amanecer” ft. Daddy Yankee, “La Mano Se Te Fue”, “Si Tu No Estas” ft. J Alvarez, as well as collaborations with O’Neil, De La Ghetto, Divino, Zion & Lennox, Secreto, Farruko, Wise, J King y Maximan, Franco El Gorila, Trebol Clan, Ñengo Flow and Yomo.
D.OZi’s latest album is called “La Capital” and it was released in 2016. It contains the songs “Donde Te Pillemos 2” ft. Farruko, “Ganas De Vivir” ft. Ken-Y, besides collaborations with Pusho, Yomo, Messiah, Trebol Clan and Maka. In 2017, he released the EP “AKA Trap”, which features the songs “Kalashnikov”, and collaborations with Juhn, Mike Towers and Gotay.
