Juan Camilo Hernandez, also known as El Indio, was born on January 31st, 1992, in Medellin, Colombia. He is sometimes referred as "El Dueño De La Melodía" (the owner of the melody)
Music runs in El Indio's blood. He started his career when he was only a teenager, and his mother used to be a famous singer in Colombia when she was younger.
El Indio is a very talented singer-songwriter. His main influences are Juan Luis Guerra, Ricardo Arjona, Sin Bandera and Arcangel.
In 2008, he formed a duo called Dbastion & El Indio, but decided to go solo shortly afterwards, in 2010. He then released his first song, called "Quítate La Ropa", which was well received by the public and played in a few small and online radio stations around Latin America.
Some of his most famous songs are "Tocar Tu Piel", "Vas A Extrañar" and "Tus Besos" ft. Maluma. He's currently working on his first solo album, which will be called “El Dueño De La Melodía”.
