Justin Rafael Quiles Rivera, better known as J Quiles or Justin Quiles, was born on March 29th, 1990 in Bridgeport, Connecticut, to Puerto Rican parents.
After demonstrating an interest in music since an early age, Quiles decided to move to Puerto Rico after graduating from school to pursue his dream. He rented a studio and started working on a few songs. A while later, he moved to Orlando and worked with producer Lelo, who had previously worked with Jowell y Randy and Wisin y Yandel.
Success finally came after Justin released the song "Orgullo", which featured Colombian singer J Balvin. The song quickly appeared on the Top 20 of the Billboard Latin Rhythm chart.
His first album, "Carpe Diem", was released in 2015. Meanwhile, he became a YouTube star with his series of "Carpe Diem" videos, which showed his day to day life as an artist.
The album was then followed by "Imperio Nazza: Justin Quiles Edition", in 2016, which produced the hit "Si El Mundo Se Acabara". That same year, he put out the EP "JQ Miliano", which featured the hit song "Lo Perdona".
In 2017, Justin released his second studio album, "La Promesa", which features the hit songs "Si Ella Quisiera", "Egoísta", "Instagram" and "Otra Copa" ft. Farruko.
Justin is currently signed to the label Rich Music, and has a distribution agreement with Warner Music. He has also collaborated with other Reggaeton stars, such as Maluma and Kevin Roldan.
