In the last 15 days, Hurricanes Irma and Maria have impacted Puerto Rico with winds of more than 200 km/h, leaving behind hundreds of casualties and victims throughout the island.

 

To restore order and support the victims of this natural disaster, various organizations have joined forces to establish collection centers to offer help and receive donations from local residents and neighboring countries wishing to join the cause.

 

Authorized Sites:

University of Puerto Rico, Cayey Campus.

Community Research Initiative (Calle Quisqueya # 61, corner of Chile in Hato Rey, urbanization Villa Capri, Street Toscania # 1196 in Río Piedras).

 

The organization Puerto Rico Changes will open seven collection centers to collect basic necessities for the areas affected by the hurricane, which will be located in: Salon Wilnelia Merced (Mayor of Caguas), Coliseum Dr. Juan Sánchez Acevedo (Municipality of Moca), Church El Sendero de la Cruz (Hato Rey), University of Puerto Rico Cayey Campus, Juan Ponce de Leon 11 School  (Municipality of Florida), Juan Suarez Pelegrina School (Municipality of Aguadilla) and the Student Council 2017-2018 Interamerican University enclosure of Aguadilla.

 

For those outside of Puerto Rico, the television network Telemundo and the Red Cross, will be receiving donations for the victims of Hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria through the website https://www.redcross.org/donate/cm/telemundo-pub.

 

In addition, next Saturday September 23, Univision will make a telethon that you can join by calling 1-800-842-2200 or visiting the website www.univision.com/unidos.
