Next September 12 will begin the Bogotá Music Market (BOmm Festival), a platform for the promotion and circulation of the Colombian music industry, organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Bogotá. In this space, the main musicians, composers, producers, agencies, entrepreneurs, brands, labels and publishers of the country will gather, with the aim of observing the latest musical tendencies. In addition, some participating artists will be able to present their productions and compositions during the live shows.

As usual, in the Showcases of BOmm there will be multiple musical genres for the audience to enjoy this experience to the fullest. Going through bachata, ska, pop, tropical sounds, rock and rap. With so much musical offer walking through the festival, in VidaPrimo, we couldn’t miss the opportunity to recommend 5 songs with which you can light up and get bored.

Diamante Eléctrico – Diamante Eléctrico

We cannot deny that this rock song has very sticky and revolting riffs, which encourage us to just listen to them. The excellent mix between the drums and the rhythm guitar, create a fresh and energetic song. Listening to this theme, Diamante Eléctrico reminds us of the great tracks of legendary bands like Led Zeppelin.

Doctor Krápula – Amanece

Excellent Ska-Punk song that has dyes of cumbia and that transmits to us its message of social transformation and activation of the conscience. It’s difficult to choose just one song by Dr. Krápula, because the vast majority of us are invited to study, but we believe that this is for the taste, both of rock followers and those who do not. Undoubtedly, the best thing to listen to at a popular rebel party.

Vicente García – Carmesí

The Dominican Vicente García, who has been characterized by being a multifaceted musician, has achieved to approach and interpret different genres. In this bachata with some reggae, we can appreciate the deep romantic letters that offers us. We cannot deny that, currently the Dominican is one of the most prominent artists in alternative music in Latin America.

Bazurto All Stars – El Bololó

The boys of Bazurto All Stars are expert connoisseurs of Caribbean and tropical rhythms, who better than them to take all that energy from the Colombian Atlantic coast. The 'Bololó' is a musical hybrid that has many genres in a single song like reggae, champeta and calypso dyes. The band that is sensation in Cartagena would have to be yes or yes in our rumba.

Meridian Brothers - Salsa Caliente

The perfect combination of electronic sounds and Latin rhythms is brought to us by Meridian Brothers with their 'Salsa Caliente'. The bogotanos are in charge of using melodies typical of Latin America and merge them with the avant-garde music to discharge us much energy in each subject, and this is not the exception. Clearly this song serves to encourage us and begin to dance.

Bonus Track: Los Gaiteros de San Jacinto / Campo Alegre

We cannot overlook the traditional Colombian music, such as Cumbia and Porro that perfectly interpret the Gaiteros de San Jacinto and also bring us all that indigenous miscegenation. 'Campo Alegre' is embedded with all the folklore of Creole bagpipes, Indian maracas and African drums. Ancestral music that still lives and is preserved to the thousand marvels.
