It has been announced that Ricky Martin will be the fourth and final judge on the Mexican version of The Voice when the fourth season begins on 7th September. The show will be broadcast on the country's Televisa network.
He has been on the judging panel of the Australian show for the past two seasons and finished filming last week. His acts finished as runner up in both seasons. However, the singer from Puerto Rico will be heading back to his Latin roots when he joins the Mexican show.
He will join local stars Yuri and Julion Alverez as a mentor on the talent show. Italian singer Laura Pausini completes the line up. The whole of the judging panel is a different line up to last season, which was won by Marcos Razo.
The announcement ends speculation that the singer would be confirmed as the fourth judge after he announced a series of shows which will be held in Mexico in October.
